Bree finally got to her dorm room after lugging three bags of luggage up two flights of stairs. She got her key out and opened up the door, she was the first one. "Hey, first choice for beds!" Bree said to herself. She took the one by the window. Bree wasn't sure how five girls were going to stay in the same room. Hopefully everyone got along.
Bree started to unpack all her clothes. Putting all her clothes in the dresser drawers. She opened up the nightstand drawer and placed her phone and ipod in it. This was a new start for Bree, and she was excited. Her home in Ohio was filled with fighting. She was happy she was half way around the world from that house. 'Half way around the world' That thought still hasn't sunk in yet.
She flopped onto her bed and and wondered what she was going to do next. She might go explore. Classes start on the 4th so she has time. She took out some pictures. Bree looked at the ones of her riding. She missed that. The feeling of flying when your soaring over a 3'6" fence. Thats the thing she truly missed. But no time to think of that, time to go explore! She grabbed her purse and headed for the door.

Adelaide practically broke the door off it's hinges when she swung it open, almost violently. The dorm had five beds, one of them already occupied by a girl who looked as if she was about to leave, but now it was too late, as Adelaide was standing in the doorway.
"Well, good mornin' darlin'." She said to the pretty brunette, in her best Southern Belle voice, proping up her Ray Bans on the top of her head. She didn't wait for a reply before the moved further into the room and pointed to the centre bed, this time using a classic New York accent. "Put it over there, boys."
Three young looking students came in with two bags each, putting them down onto the bed. Quickly, they came to face the redhead who already had her wallet out. "Twenty, twenty, twenty." She said, handing each boy a bill.
The tallest boy of the three looked at his. "This is American money!" He exclaimed.
"Get it changed on your own time." Adelaide replied, shooing them from the room and turning back to face the brunette. She went back to her normal, Cajun, accent. "Well well, cher', I desire your name and talent." But before the brunette could reply, the redhead stuck out her hand. "Adelaide Peyroux, Harpist Extraordinaire."

Sophie walked into the dorm room, with 3 bags of luggage and her violin case in hand. She stepped in to see the room already occupied by other students. She smiled to them and proceeded to the nearest bed to the door. Placing her bags on the floor, she started unpacking. She knew that these was the creative and performing arts dorm so there'd probably be other musicians as well, but she wasn't too sure whether they'd mind her playing her violin in the dorm, so she decided to just use the practice rooms instead.
Sophie was a little afraid about fitting in with the other students. Though she had never had any problems with making friends, she had lived in vienna for such a long time that she wondered whether she would be able to get along with international students. She assumed that most of them were either french or american and with completely different backgrounds, she wondered if they would actually get along. However she decided that it might actually be fun to get to know them so she introduced herself to them saying, ''hey I'm Sophie and I'm a violinist. I've lived in vienna for a while so its my first time in france.''

Adelaide heard someone come into the room behind her, but she kept talking anyway. It was only when she was addressed that she spoke.
"Bzzz. Too slow!" She said, winking at the brunette who didn't have time to answer before the new roommate spoke.
"Hey, I'm Sophie and I'm a violinist. I've lived in Vienna for a while so its my first time in France."
Adelaide swung around to face a blonde girl. "Crap, you're thin." She said immediately, not really thinking. "Okay, darlin', you've officially blinded me with your beauty, now show me your violin. I played the violin when I was seven, but I got bored after a while, it was too easy (no offence, cher')I'm always picking up new instruments, mostly always stringed, but I get bored. That's the thing about harp, it's so damn hard to get pro, but I tell you what, I'm almost there. Yeah, that's right, I make angels WEEP with the sounds of my music." Adelaide smiled, knowlingly. "You're gonna like it here."
She turned and grabbed the brunette who had been standing, silently, watching the exchange. Adelaide pulled her by the shoulders and made her stand next to Sophie. "Okay, girlies, Adelaide Peyroux, Harpist Extraordinaire," She pointed to herself before grabbing a hand of each girl. "Twiggy and Doe Eyes, best friends for life."
Before the two girls had time to reply, Adelaide leapt onto the center bed and sat, cross-legged. "So, Doe Eyes. You didn't tell me what you did?"

Bree was so close to walking out the door when a fiery red haired girl came in. Knowing that she wouldn't be leaving anytime soon she sat on her bed and put her purse beside her. She crossed her legs and put her hands in her lap as she ordered the boys to put her stuff by her bed. Bree wasn't sure how she was going to get along with her. She was loud. Bree wasn't.
Bree got up and went to go introduce herself. The girl started to talk but before she could answer her question a girl with blonde hair came in. She was really skinny, she looked like a model. Then Sophie started to talk to the blonde girl but before she knew it she was holding hands with Sophie. "I'm Bree, Bree Mordecai, and I sing and act." She sat on her bed to get comfy. She didn't know how long she was going to be here.

Sophie still had her bags in her hand and was about to place her violin case on the floor when the red-haired girl introduced herself. Turning to her, she said, "It's great to meet another violinist, though you only played for a while. I switched instruments too, learnt the piano when i was 6 and then picked up the violin. I'll definitely show you my violin as soon as I get these bags unpacked. And you can show me your harp, it'd be great to be able to play with you one day." Sophie threw her bags on the floor, and looked up to see another girl who stretched her hand out to her. She shook hands with her as the other girl introduced herself. "So you're a singer and an actor? You'd do great in musicals, you know. And just in case you didn't catch my name, I'm Sophie and it's a pleasure to meet you." She replied.
Sophie sat down on her bed and looked at the bags she had to unpack and sighed. She hated unpacking but at least she'd already met 2 new students who sounded wonderful and it seemed like they were both passionate about the arts too.

Adelaide smiled to herself. Her roommates, Sophie and Bree, were friendly. That was a big plus. And what was more was that they were expecting two more girls for their dorm, which made Adelaide even happier. She knew girls, she knew what they were like: loud, creative, and hopefully exciting. Adelaide was estatic at the idea that there would be four girls, all around her age, to talk to at all times of the night and day. There would be clashes in their taste in music, loud arguments, bundles of laughter and never a minute of silence. And to mark the occasion, Adelaide jumped off her bed, grabbing a suitcase as she went. It was heavy, but she managed to carry it over to her chest of drawers and open it up, revealing a large stereo inside, cushioned by random articles of clothing (this style of packing was consistent throughout Adelaide's bags). She picked it up and within seconds had set it up, all plugged in and ready to play.
Adelaide turned to face her roommates, with another mischevious smile. "I sure hope you girls brought some CDs." She pressed play and put all her bags on the floor as Wheatus' "Teenage Dirtbag" came out of the stereo, quiet enough so that the girls could talk.
It seemed that Adelaide had never been so excited in her life. She turned to Sophie. "So darlin', you said you lived in Vienna? New Orleans, Louisiana, born 'n' raised. I'm gonna miss it so badly in a few days, just you watch." Adelaide turned to face Bree. "What about you, cher'?"

Bree pulled her hair back into a messy bun. She decided that her roommates were pretty amazing. They were really nice and maybe she shouldn’t have judged Adelaide so soon. She smiled; this was going to be a very good year. Bree wondered who the other two roommates were going to be. That is the exciting part. She rolled up her sleeves and started to unpack the rest of her clothes, putting away everything in the appropriate drawers. Listening to the music that Adelaide put on.
“This is interesting… I’ve never heard this.” She stopped unpacking for a bit to talk to Sophie and Adelaide. She crawled back into her bed and sat cross legged facing both of the girls. They both seemed very excited to be here. Just like Bree. And that was nice, now they all have something in common; they were all thrilled to be here! “Oh I brought some CDs. But not a lot… I have my IPod” She held it up but quickly put it back down. She looked out the window. It was kind of grey and cloudy. Hopefully it would be sunny soon.
Bree looked at Sophie. “That’s really cool you lived in Vienna. It’s pretty there.” Then Adelaide asked Bree was from. “Ohio! The land of nothing.” Bree laughed. She came from the most uninteresting place. But now they were all in the same place and were probably going to become great friends. Bree could tell.

Sophie got off her bed and started hanging her clothes in the cupboard nearest to her bed. She looked up as she heard the music blasting out of the stereo. Living in Vienna, she wasn't exposed to much music other than classical music and some jazz, so this was new to her. Well, the exposure to other music was good too, just different. Turning to look at her two other roommates, she said, ''I've brought some cds, but most of my music is in my ipod. It'd be too heavy to have to bring most of my cds here and my ipod is an amazing thing or I would have to bring an extra box filled with cds.''
She was about to hang up the last piece of clothing when Brie said she was from Ohio, the land of nothing. She laughed and said, ''Well, I'm guessing that even Ohio would not be as traditional as Vienna. So, how did you two decide to come all the way from America to France?''

Liv opened the door. From the other side she could hear music and a few girls chatting. Suddenly she was nervous, what if they all knew each other? What would she do then? What if none of them liked her. Liv tried to calm herself and she entered the room. “Heyy” Liv said as she walked in, her high heels clicking on the wooden floor. Liv could see 3 of the 5 beds were taken. From what Liv could see there were 3 beds on one side and 2 on the other. Dressers and such were next to the beds. There were 2 window beds (as she called them). One has been taken by a smiling dark haired girl, next to her was a energetic red head, and across from her was a blonde that was unpacking. So she has 2 choices, a Window bed, or a bed next to Miss Red Head (No offense intended). She decided it would be nice to wake up every morning or night to see outside. So she headed to the window bed. She sat her 3 pink suitcases down and plopped on her bed “Hey, I’m Olivia Hart, but if you could, call me Liv. I’m from California, Los Angeles, California.” She smiled and hoped that they would all like her, at that moment she wanted nothing but them to like her.

Adelaide watched as her two roommates unpacked and talked. They both mentioned that they didn't have many CDs with them but both had iPods.
"Yeah, I figured. I brought a cable to connect them." Adelaide said, still buzzing from the idea of two more roommates. Hopefully they would be as down to earth and polite as her current two.
Just as Adelaide had that thought, another girl walked into the room with a simple, "Hey". She was tall, taller than all the other girls, and and looked as if her skin had been tanned so it was almost caramel colored. As she walked, Adelaide noticed her high heels and raised a subtle eyebrow.
"High heels in the middle of the day. I wonder if she wore those on the plane." She thought. "Why can't people just act the age they are?"
The tall girl turned around. "Hey, I'm Olivia Hart, but if you could, call me Liv. I'm from California. Los Angeles, California." She then flashed them a smile.
Adelaide tried not to snicker. "So that is why she is wearing heels." She thought. She wasn't being discriminative or anything, it was just that every teenage girl from Los Angeles that Adelaide had met had been exactly the same; it was all she knew. Even though she thought this, there was no way she was going to let it effect her opinion of the girl. She was going to give her a chance, as she did with everyone.
"Good morning." Adelaide said. "What is it that you do exactly?" She asked, hoping that Sophie and Bree wouldn't notice the lack of pet names. "Oh, I'm Adelaide Peyroux. I'm from New Orleans and I rock the harp harder than anyone else in the world." She jerked her thumb at Sophie and Bree. "That's Twiggy and Doe Eyes. We've already formed the popular clique, and to get in, you gotta bribe us with candy and the story of your first kiss. Go!"
It was obvious that she was joking. It was her way of saying "Hello and Welcome", but she wouldn't be surprised if Olivia took it seriously.

Liv noticed Adelaide looking down at her heels. She wasn't sure where she was from but certainly not L.A. "My mom works for the Jimmy Choo Company"Liv blurted out without thinking it through. "So I get free shoes, besides my mom was watching when I left the house, she insists that I wear her "brand"at all times. I didn't have time to change" Liv opened her suitcase to reveal more high heels, but also a great deal of flats and other non pump like shoes. It was true, her mom did work for Jimmy Choo, and her mom did insist that she wear them, but frankly she didn't mind. In fact she loved her strappy heels. She had begged her mom all summer to get them for her, and as a going away surprise she had. Liv heard Adelaide say "That's Twiggy and Doe Eyes. We've already formed the popular clique, and to get in, you gotta bribe us with candy and the story of your first kiss. Go!" For a sec, Liv thought she was serious, but then she saw her playful smile. "I don't have candy, Liv said trying to sound as playful and light hearted as Red Head, but I do have magazines?" Liv pulled out her Elle mags and tossed them near the floor. "So, Liv said slipping into her Jimmy Choo flats, what are Twiggy and Doe Eyes real names, and where are you guys from?"Liv settled in on her bed and tried to sound normal but she was more nervous than before.... OOC: Sorry if I messed up up any order you guys had, with Sophie leaving I think we should come up with a new one and such . Thanks Here are Liv's heels and flats.

Bree fiddled with her Jac Vanek bracelet when the new girl walked in. “Oh wow…” Bree thought, “She’s definitely not from Ohio.” Bree looked at her heels. Bree has never worn heels in her life…besides dress up when she was 5. Converse and flip flops were the way to go for Bree. Bree realized she was staring at her heels and started to play with her bracelet again. She looked at Adelaide who appeared to be looking at her shoes also. She gave her that look that best friends give each other. Then when Bree sat back in her bed, the new girl, who Bree thinks she said her name was Liv, mentioned that her mom works for the Jimmy Choo Company “She must live in California.” Thought Bree
When Liv opened her suitcase, she saw that it was filled with more high heels. “Wow, that’s a lot of shoes.” Bree Said. Then Adelaide introduced Sophie and me as Twiggy and Doe Eyes. Bree smiled and said “I’m Bree, And I’m from Ohio, I’m here for Acting and Singing.”

"Hi Bree"Liv smiled. The girl was looking down at her shoes too "I guess none of you are the high heel wearing type? Well don't let it scare you k?" Liv wanted Bree to like her. She was an actress and singer too. She wanted to be friends with Bree. She reminded her of her old friends "So, you an actress and singer too? I just love acting, and singing! Haha, kind a weird, an actress leaving L.A, but I was so tired of that place. I needed to go someone, different you know?" She saw Bree's bracelet "Hey I love your bracelet" Liv went and sat on Bree's bed hoping she wasn't looking to ready to be friends. But then again thats all she wanted

Adelaide watched as Olivia and Bree busied themselves in polite conversation. She listened hard, trying to find a place to jump in, but they were talking about shoes. Adelaide looked down at her own grubby Doc Martins, caked with Louisiana dirt, and quickly look them off, tucking her socks into them and sliding the shoes under her bed.
"Hopefully they won't care." Adelaide thought, looking down at her little blood red painted toenails, wiggling.
"- different, you know?"
Adelaide's ears perked up when she heard Olivia speak of her yearning for a change of scene. That was something she could relate to, but just as she was about to speak up about their similar interest, Olivia continued.
"I love your bracelet." She said to Bree, and the two girls seemed to share a smile.
Adelaide knew nothing of jewelery, nor of clothing, and she hoped that it wouldn't be a popular topic; she didn't want to feel left out. At this point, Adelaide was wearing a thin green and black striped hoodie. It was summer in France, but fairly cool in her opinion. Adelaide was from Louisiana after all, and on the day she left it was very hot, and very wet.
Adelaide decided to wait for another chance to jump into the conversation, listening to what they spoke about, while unpacking her clothes from two suitcases, but leaving the other three mysteriously laying on the floor.

Liv liked Bree, the way she was so quite, yet some how she knew that if she wanted to be she could maybe be fairly loud. She looked over at Adelaide, the very loud one. She had been the first to notice Liv's California ways. But she wanted her to like her as much as she wanted Bree to. She touched Bree's bed post, and swung to A's bed. She wanted to show her that she was just as loud and sweet talking as her. "So miss red head, you got a booooyyy friend back home??" Liv hoped she didn't sound stupid, or that she didn't look lesbo. She just wanted to seem girly, in a way. As she said that her pink iPhone began to BUZZZZ and shake on her bed. She watched in horror as it edged near the beds edge. She slid to the floor catch it. When she got up she looked down at her designer skinny jeans. A large whole in the knee. "Great."Liv said She didn't want to look to upset. They were just jeans. "Anyone got a pair of scissors?" Liv remembers the ones in her purse. But she didn't want the others to see her purse, and thinking she was even more stuck up, so she grabbed them quickly. Rip, Rip. "Designer shorts"Liv laughed. And so did the other girls. She wanted to hug each one of them.... but of course didn't.

It was nice someone else in her dorm was a singer and an actress, like Bree. “We probably have a lot in common!” Bree thought just as Liv was making her way to Bree’s Bed. “I know how you feel with the whole leaving part.” Bree smiled. She really wants to become friends with Liv. When Liv said she liked her bracelet, Bree smiled and then Liv did. “Thanks! I really like it too.” Then Liv went over to Adelaide’s bed. Bree was kind of over hearing their conversation. She laughed when Liv asked if Adelaide had a boyfriend because Liv said it in such a weird way. Then she saw the pink IPhone start to buzz and almost fall of the bed when Liv slid to catch it. “Nice save” Bree said laughing as Liv got up with a huge hole in her jeans. Then Liv asked for scissors. “Oh dear… What are you going to do?” Bree asked. Then she saw Liv cutting her jeans into jean shorts. Bree laughed, this was going to be a great year.

Bree and Olivia looked adorable together. It was like they were best friends already, but in turn that made Adelaide feel a little left out. Not because she wasn't clicking with her roommates, but because she missed Diego, her childhood friend, so badly. He was a brilliant artist; definitley talented enough to get into Desrosiers', but his parents just didn't have the money. It was a damn shame too.
Adelaide watched as Olivia swung around to talk to her. "So, miss red head, you got a booooyyy friend back home?"
Adelaide laughed. "Ah, them darlin' men." She said, putting on her Southern Belle voice. "They just seem to fall down at my feet."
It wasn't much of a lie. Adelaide did have a few hangers-on back home, but none of them were worthy of mentioning. They all seemed to think she was kind of a badass. Her parents were wealthy, and she played the harp and enjoyed Victorian literature, but she always found time to go and hang out down by the Granger's bayou with the boys and shoot the cans that were tied to the branches of the overhanging tree. When Adelaide thought about it, her homelife probably sounded like a bad excerpt of The Adventures of Tom Sawyer. She decided to keep that memory quiet.
At that moment, Olivia's phone began to vibrate. Both Adelaide and Bree saw that it was much too close to the edge of her bed to be caught, but somehow Olivia made it, ruining her jeans in the process.
Bree said, "Nice save. Oh dear... what are you going to do?"
Adelaide immediately assumed that Olivia liked her jeans. It was an important day, the first day of a new school, and she would probably want to make a good first impression, which was why Adelaide was surprised when she just shrugged and cut them into shorts.
Olivia smiled, and Adelaide did too. "I'm sure you have hundreds of great pairs of jeans to replace them."
