Liv walked through the Grand doors. She looked examined the room. She saw two girls, who looked to be deep in conversation. Why interrupt them, she would have time to talk to them later. This was her chance to TRY and not be the last in the dorm room. So Liv quickly gathered all her pink suitcases and managed to roll off with all three trailing behind her. As she got closer to her dorm her phone began to buzz. She wanted to ignore it. BzZzZzZzzZzZzZzzZzZzZz, she felt it vibrate again. She decided to answer it. “Ummm Hello?” She said shifting her suitcase to a new position. “LIV!!!” Three girls shouted into the phone at once. “Liv, it’s us, you know your BFF’s stuck all the way back in the U.S??” A smile broke across her face. She missed them sooooo much already. “Hey you guys!! I can’t believe you called? What time is it back in CA anyway?” “What does it matter we miss you!” one of the girls screamed at the phone. As Liv walked slowly to her dorm she talked with her friends. But she kept reminding herself that they were half way across the world, and she way here.

”Yeah Granda... I know she can... Well she made her choice a long time ago, the same way she did with me” said Arkasel as he leaned against the wall at the edge of the room by the window. The only place to get a private signal on the phone his Grandfather had given him to keep in contact four years before when he’d first left for the school. ”Your mother loves you Arkasel, even if she has a strange way of showing it. Now behave and prove that you’re a Redfield and not a Cooper like your father, I love you” came the voice of the elderly gentleman before hanging up as Arkasel gave a sigh and slid the phone in his back pocket.
The little room was just one of a few he had set up for experiments but it was the one that also gave him the best signal and privacy in the whole damn castle. Walking over to the small table at the side, he lifted the small selection of vials and grinned as they began to settle from their cloudy appearance. A quick dip into his shirt pocket resulted in a pair of safety glasses covering his eyes, the left of which was nursing a large black eye from a bad end of the summer. As he mixed two of the tubes together, he spun them gently before dropping them into the third together. The tube almost instantly turned purple as the crystals began to form and was dumped hastily into a small, match-box sized plastic container with a small splash of water before being sealed and compressed.
He felt better when he’d put it away in his pocket and hidden the supplies before stepping out of the room and flipping the glasses off. ”Another Batch, Another Experiment” he said to himself as he headed down the hall while pinching the bridge of his nose to avoid itching his eye, before brushing his shirt and jeans down from the dust they had acquired.
