Adelaide came waltzing into the dining room and poured herself a lovely helping of hot coffee. While it cooled, she grabbed a croissant and brought it back to an empty table.
The dining room was large and bustling with students all hungry from sleep. Adelaide could relate, and she wolfed down her pastry, eagerly. It tasted just like the ones Jane made at home. It was nice to have something that felt the same, everything else was so different, especially the people that she had met. All the girls in her dorm were nice. They were funny, and smart, and obviously talented; Adelaide felt happy that she had a place like this for a school.
Straight after breakfast, Adelaide was planning on going out to the grounds to have a look around, before first period, which for her was Music Theory 101. She would have to make the exploration of the grounds fairly short, as she didn't want to be late on her first day of the class that she would, no doubt, ace.
Adelaide decided that it would be best if she grabbed another croissant before going outside. So with that thought, Adelaide went back up to the buffet.

Liv entered the room with Bree and Soph. They walked arm in arm to the buffet. "I am totally craving some coffee and a croissant with chocolate in it!"She said as she grabbed some. "I'll go find Red." Liv walked around and found Red as she was leaving "Hey you can't go sit down!! We have to enjoy our first breakfast together!"Liv grabbed Red and dragged her to a table were Bree and Soph were sitting. "I'm so excited for classes! Are you guys?"

Sophie walked into the room with Bree and Liv. They sat down at a table while Liv went to find Adelaide and dragged her along. "So am I! I can't wait for them to start." She replied. Sophie was feeling a little hungry already and the buffet spread looked amazing.
"I'm going to go grab some food first." She said. She got up from her chair and made her way to the buffet spread. She grabbed the nearest plate and filled it with some pastries. She then poured herself some coffee and walked back to the table. She sat down and placed her food on the table, they looked and smelt great. She was really going to love the food here.

Just as Adelaide picked up a croissant and turned to leave, she felt a hand clamp around her arm. She turned to look at saw Liv dragging her back over to a table, saying "Hey you can't go sit down! We have to enjoy our first breakfast together!"
Live plonked Adelaide down in a chair that was opposite Sophie and next to Bree. Sophie had already filled a plate with food, so Adelaide munched down on her croissant, happily chewing the flaky pastry.
"I'm so excited for classes! Are you guys?" Liv was obviously excited.
"Hell yeah. Music Theory 101 first period for me." Adelaide replied, standing. "Now it's time for more coffee. Excuse me." She said politely, and went back to get another cup of coffee.

This place was huge. The dining hall itself was the size of the great hall at her last school. Vienna grinned as she sailed through the doors and into the vast room buzzing with new students. She headed for the coffee, grabbing up a nice sized cup and thinking of all her things, waiting to be unpacked in her room. Being late to school didn't bother her, it might bother others, but she didn't really care. She captured strange looks as she swept along the buffet grabbing the food she wanted. Holding her plate and black coffee she walked towards the nearest table, occupied by three girls. She flicked multicolored tresses over her shoulder and carefully placed her food and drink on the table in an unoccupied seat. "Mind if I hijack this seat?" she asked, sliding in. She smiled at the other girls and said "I'm Vienna, Vienna Rigaldi. I just got here this morning, so I haven't seen much. I haven't even met my roommates yet!" she added with a light laugh. She scooped up a croissant and dug her teeth into it. Simply delicious.

Liv watched out as Soph got some more breakfast. She suddenly wanted some, she got up and filled her own plate with eggs, bacon, and some other pastry's. She headed over and got some Coffee, she added everything imaginable to make it sweet. She sat down just as A girl with purple hair had. Liv heard her name was Vienna. "Hi, I'm Liv" Liv put her hand out as she slid into the seat next t her. "You just got here right? Well we have an empty bed in our room if you please to come join us" Liv liked her hair. She had once dreamed of dying her hair a bright blue, but her strick mother would deny her this quickly She started to munch on her food as she leaned over and gave Bree a pinch.

Adelaide came back to the table with another cup of coffee and sat down in her seat. The table had gained another member, a girl with purple hair, teased into a great style. Adelaide took a sip of her coffee.
"Well well, now who might you be?" She leaned over the table toward the purple haired girl. "Adelaide Peyroux, Harpist Extraordinaire. Pleasure to meet you. Tell me you're a CAPA and you have to join our dorm."

This school was starting to feel too familiar for Angie’s liking. Then again, when you spend a year some place, maybe it was bound to happen. The blonde didn’t like it as it was only another reminder that her mother could decide to send her to a different school on a whim. After all Desrosiers’ was school number six for her. Sometimes the girl wished her parents had no money; in ways it would make her life easier. Then again, even Angie had to admit, there were advantages to it that were undeniable.
Her suitcase went on the bed and the girl opened it. Unpacking took a matter of moments, as there weren’t a lot of items in her bag, just what she would need for the first two days or so. The hope was that the other things wouldn’t be delayed or she might have to go shopping. Angie wasn’t keen on shopping unless it was for art supplies or art work. She had as little to do with clothing stores as possible.
A knock was heard and Angie opened the door to reveal her items. A man stood there escorted by one of the female staff members. The school higher-ups and some of the girl’s teachers knew about her accident. They had to in case the pain got to bad and she had to miss any days of classes due to it. Angie supposed that she could use that excuse to skip school at some point; if the girl had been so inclined. Truth was this was the first school that she had been to where she actually liked her classes. Opening the door wide enough to let the man with her boxes in she stood back and pointed to an empty spot by her bed. The man obliged stacking up the boxes to which Angie thanked him, gave him a tip and sent him on his way.
She supposed she could unpack now. There wasn’t a ton of boxes, just three small ones, two of which were filled with art supplies, one had other things. Two more suitcases of clothes had also been delivered. Blue eyes starred at the boxes for a moment and sighed, no not right now. Instead, she opened the top box and found a new drawing pad, some other things that she would need for the first day and closed the box back up. Everything was out of the way so it should be fine until later.
The girl looked at the clock; it was still morning as she had arrived fairly early. She supposed she should go get some breakfast; maybe find someone to talk to. Her eyes glanced down among her arms and legs and the girl sighed. Well, it wasn’t as if everyone wouldn’t see them at some point but they did make her feel a little self-conscious. Still, there wasn’t anything to be done about them.
Making her way down to the cafeteria, the girl grabbed a coffee and some food and saw some girls sitting in a group talking. Not really spotting anyone she knew and the seats getting sparse, she wandered over to the group and put her hand on what seemed to be an empty chair. ”Do you mind if I sit here?”

Liv saw the girl approach the table. Her arms were covered in deep cuts. She tried not to stare and continued to talk about her classes with her friends. Then the girls asked if she could sit. Liv didn't know if she was the one who had to answer. She, like most, had seen the movies were the girls were like a pack of wolves. One was the leader and the rest followed,. But no one answered so Liv did. "Sure!"She eyed the girl, she had long blonde hair, it was curled perfectly.

Angie understood it was hard not to stare the marks on her arms; she used to look at them herself quite a bit. She used to be concerned people would get the wrong idea about them even though they looked, obviously, like they were from some sort of accident. As for any questions, well, this was one of those circumstances where the truth was best way to go.
A blonde girl responded to her question. ”Thanks.” She smiled at the girl. ”I’m Angie by the way.” She figured introducing herself was the polite thing to do.
Her eyes glanced around at the other girls. Her mind wondered what her parents would say if she dyed her hair purple. Then again they might never know. Maybe, a change of look would do her some good but Angie had other ideas for that. After all, it would be better to do her own thing.

”Thanks,” She said with a slight smile. ”Actually, it’s my second year here. So, I should probably be welcoming you?” While she didn’t recognize the girl it didn’t mean that the other girl was new. As for if she was an artist. ”Yes.” With a slight nod. ”How about you?”

Adelaide had been drifting off. The polite conversation around her had been enough for her to be able to just sip her coffee and think about her harp, but it had gotten to the point where she had stopped listening completely.
Adelaide looked up to see yet another new girl at the table. Another blonde, this one with long curls. She had that sweet look about her, the type that made Adelaide have to watch what she said, so she didn't offend (though most of the time, that didn't stop her).
"Actually, it's my second year here. So, I should probably be welcoming you?" The girl said.
It was obvious that they had just met, so Adelaide felt fine with introducing herself to someone else.
"Adelaide Peyroux, Harpist Extraordinaire." She leaned over the table to shake the new girl's hand. "Sorry I didn't speak sooner. I was away with the fairies. What is your name? What do you do?" Adelaide glanced down at the hand she was shaking and saw the girl's arm. "And what happened to your arm?"
She knew it was probably something that she didn't particularly want to talk about, but it was best to get it out the way now, or else Adelaide would feel uncomfortable.
"It's okay if you don't want to talk about it, but I just want to know if it would be okay to give you a hug without hurting you, you know, if I wanted to." She continued, hoping that she wasn't putting the new girl off from being her friend.
It was obviously important for Adelaide to branch out, so she didn't want to put up stop signs everywhere. But still, she was worried on how the girl would react. She looked a little frail.

Most people took one look at Angie and thought her to be innocent, frail and having been raised in a sheltered lifestyle. Even she would admit it was true but only up to a point. Having money and growing up in boarding schools tended to make some more sheltered than others who hadn’t had those opportunities. Still her innocence at least one layer had been ripped away this summer. The accident, her brothers death and the phone call she got a week ago telling her the two closest friends she had left at this school weren’t coming back. One couldn’t due to the fact his parents business had gone under, the other, had decided that she wanted to go to school back in the states. It wasn’t as if the girl had a large selection of people she was close to so that really hurt her but she understood. As for being frail, physically she was but only to a point.
”It’s nice to meet you.” Returning Adelaide’s handshake with a smile. ”It’s fine. I’m Angie. Angie Morrison. I’m an artist…painting, sketching and sculpting mostly.” While she found it interesting the way the girl had introduced herself Angie just couldn’t bring her self to say anything even close to her being an exceptional artist, even if she would have to be to be in this school.
The question of her arm came up and Angie looked down at it for a moment. Well, honesty works, after all what had happened had been out of her control. ”I was in a car accident at the beginning of the summer.”
She couldn’t help but smile at the hug comment. ”It’s fine feel free to ask whatever you want to about it. “ It was better than people assuming. ”And hugs are fine, just not too tight.” Angie wasn’t a big hugger but it wasn’t as if she was skittish about them either

Liv listened as the two talked and decided to slip in. "I'm an actress. And sorry to hear about your accident...." Liv hated the way she talked about people she really didn't know. She wanted to let her self go, and be well Liv. The fun, wild, sing in to a hair bush to her favorite song kind of girl. She hoped that they would becoome girls she could do that in front of. She wanted to be herself, thats all she wanted

"I'm an actress. And sorry to hear about your accident...." Liv said, in a way that made Adelaide think she was uncomfortable with talking about it.
"Yeah, that sucks." She said, quickly. "Anyway, you're an artist? That's pretty awesome, cher'. You can do a portrait of me." Adelaide laughed, striking an over-the-top pose and winking at Liv. "It'll sell for millions!"
Well, it was official. The coffee had kicked in and she was feeling great. She was about ready to run around the track out in the grounds.
"So, darlin', you got a dorm room yet? Cause we got a room with a spare bed. It's me, Liv," she began to point around the table at the girls, "Sophie and Bree in it already, but you're welcome to join."
Adelaide hoped that Angie would join their dorm, but she remembered the girl had gone to the school for a few years already; she probably had other friends she wanted to bunk with.

Angie nodded at Liv’s response. ”An actress. I hear that drama class has a really good teacher.” It also seemed to Angie that Liv was uncomfortable about talking about the accident. And she was fine with dropping the subject.
Adelaide seemed to change the subject as well. ”Well, it is one of my specialties.” She said with a slight laugh at Adelaide’s pose.
Angie sipped her coffee, thinking to herself that these girls seemed really nice. Maybe, she could become friends with them. Though, what Adelaide said next surprised her. ”Actually, I have a room but I don’t have any roommates. The person I was supposed to room with this year didn’t come back.” As for her other friends a few had stopped keeping in contact with her, over the summer, once the accident happened. Angie didn’t know what to think about that. But when she got an e-mail from her best friend it turned out a lot of them had been fair weather friends to begin with,; she really didn’t want to associate much with those people any more. ”Sure I could come and stay with you. I would need help moving my things, though” While the girl hated having to ask for help, she knew she physically could not move all those things on her own.
