His new room-mate seemed to give up on his book after a while and set it down, as Arkasel found himself with just two questions left to which he had no answers and gave a sigh while setting it down. He joked after about how a daft idea of a trick while being eye catching and entertaining, would not be the best idea for a career, to which Aidan told him of his preference to magic but that he didn't think others around him would hold it in the same standing.
He got up and stretched before continuing on with a mad idea that while good for a laugh would be a bad career decision. ”True, but you could probably make it more interesting by adding in a blindfold” he added as he lifted his bottle and took a drink. It was interesting to learn about his room mate but at the same time he felt that he had lost a place to be by himself.

Aidan let out a light chuckle at the thought of himself roller blading blindfolded while eating spaghetti, his roommate posing a very interesting thought. Maybe he actually could make money from that, although that would require humiliating himself in front of children and teenagers who would more than likely throw things at him. Aidan shook his head as he threw his legs over the edge of the bed and stood up, running a hand through his hair.
"There's an idea, but I don't so much like the idea of going to that much effort," Aidan replied, looking over at Arkasel as he took a swig from his bottle. Aidan then looked out the window, the green grass visible from his room. "I think I might go for a walk and have a look around, I need to become a little familiarised with the school I think." Aidan's eyes were drawn to the grass and he was sure the oval and gym were probably close, and he was interested in seeing if there were any weights available, or somewhere decent for him to work out.

The two's conversation had evolved over time to ridiculous ideas in which you could make a career to which Arkasel had suggested adding a blindfold for good measure. His room mate agreed but didn't like the idea of that much work to do it before turning to look outside of the room. He told him that he was considering a walk to look about the school and gather his bearings to which Ark gave a small nod. ”Fair enough, better safe than sorry with that” he said as he put his bottle back and slung it into his bag.
”Let me know if you need any directions” he said as he lifted up the crossword once more and set to work on the final answers that had been evading him.

Before leaving the room, Aidan pulled out a jacket from one of his bottom drawers and pulled it on, shoving his hands in his pockets for warmth as he pushed the drawer shut with his foot. While it wasn't snowing outside, the air was cold and he knew a breeze was bound to pick up sooner or later which would most likely be choppy against his skin. He'd been caught in many cold situations before and they were never too pleasant, especially when he was outside in the middle of a weights session, that's why he hoped the gym's facilities were mostly inside. Before turning to the door, Aidan turned back to his roommate again and gave him a short nod.
"Will do," he replied lightly, then turned to the dorm door, opened it and as he stepped into the cold hallway, he muttered over his shoulder: "Thanks". Aidan generally wasn't the kind to give thanks to anyone, but he still thought it would be better to appreciate his new acquaintance because he wasn't sure when he may come in handy some day.
